Nervous System Yoga Coach
Hi, I’m Alice Whitfield, a nervous system yoga coach with 22 years of experience as a frontline paramedic and 8 years guiding clients through yoga. I’ve witnessed firsthand how chronic stress, burnout, and trauma affect the nervous system, and I’ve lived it too.
After years in high stress emergency work and navigating the emotional fallout of a narcissistic relationship, I found myself stuck in a deep state of functional freeze.
Although I understood the science of survival, I couldn’t truly thrive until I began working directly with my nervous system. It was through yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and Yoga Nidra that real healing began.
These ancient, science supported tools helped me reset my system, rebuild emotional resilience, and return home to my authentic self.
Today, I guide others along that same path, helping them step out of burnout and freeze, and into a state of flow where clarity, creativity, and true healing can unfold.

My Experience and Approach
Each session weaves science and movement together, always honouring the body’s natural ability to reset and restore. My work is shaped by years as an HCPC Registered Paramedic and a degree in Paramedic Science, bringing grounded clinical insight to the healing process. With added training as a Life Coach and Yoga Therapist, I support deep emotional and physical transformation in a way that’s both practical and compassionate.
I draw on my expertise in Pilates, Yin Yoga, Breathwork, and Sound Therapy to help clients regulate, restore, and reconnect. This integrated toolkit allows me to support you through both evidence based practices and soul nourishing techniques. Drawing from both science and ancient wisdom, I meet you where you are, guiding you gently back into balance, presence, and wholeness.
