My Path to Yoga, Pilates and Nervous System Mastery
My path into nervous system work began long before I ever stepped onto a yoga mat.
For nearly twenty five years I have worked as a frontline paramedic, supporting people through some of the most intense moments of their lives. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how stress affects the body and the nervous system.
Over time I began to notice something important. Many of the health challenges people face are not simply physical. They are connected to long term stress, overwhelm and a nervous system that has been pushed beyond its natural balance.
Although I understood the science of stress through my medical training, I did not fully understand how to restore balance in my own body until I began working directly with yoga, Pilates and nervous system practices.
Through movement, breath and deep rest, I experienced how powerful these tools can be in restoring calm, clarity and resilience.
Today I bring together my experience in emergency medicine with yoga, Pilates and nervous system education to support people who want to move out of chronic stress and into a state of grounded strength, energy and flow.
